Biography of Mikko Hintz

Mikko Hintz was born in 1974. His artistic path began with a solid foundation in education. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen under the tutelage of Prof. Erik Steffensen in the Graphics department. 

Following his graduation, and even during his studies, Hintz showcased his art extensively in Finland and the Baltic region. His creations have also been featured in international group exhibitions and are part of various collections in Finland, including those of the Kiasma Contemporary Art Museum and the Helsinki Art Museum.

Hintz's recent exhibitions include "Hidden matter" with Inga Meldere, at Helsinki Contemporary (2019), "on entre ok, on sort ok" at Temnikova & Kasela in Tallinn (2016), "Kiasma Hits: 13th Collection Exhibition" at Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki (2013-2014), and many more.
